The Society:

• finds chanting kriyot on Shabbat mornings one of the most spiritually satisfying ways of studying Torah
• has the opportunity to enhance our personal study of Torah through the use of the ancient chants called ta'amim or trop.
• has several members who have also embraced the mitzvah of "...and you shall teach them to your children."
• shows dedication, commitment, and a willingness to embrace Judaism in a way that brings great beauty to our weekly services.
