Temple Beth El first chartered Troop 417 in 1932. The Temple has continuously supported the Troop throughout the years making us the third oldest troop in Richmond, and one of the oldest Troops sponsored by a Jewish organization in the country. We would like to wish a happy 70th year to Troop 417!

Troop 417 is undergoing revitalization this year & currently has a membership of 16 Scouts, and 6 uniformed adults. We have teamed with the WEBLOS Den that meets at Richmond Montessori School on Parham road, and we bridged four new scouts at the beginning of the year. Further recruitment efforts at Or Ami brought several more new Scouts to the program.

Membership is open to any boy 11 years old and up to 18 years old. Join in the fun!
