Temple Beth-El offers a wonderful warm, religious, and spiritual opportunity for its students to become Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

To become Bar/Bat Mitzvah at Temple Beth-El, students must be enrolled in the religious school for 5 years or the equivalent.

Students are taught Haftorah trope by our Educational Director, are privately tutored by our Cantor, and pass a Jewish Literacy Exam in preparation for this Simcha.

Parents meet with the Rabbis, the Executive Director, the Educational Director, and the Cantor in order to plan for a happy, meaningful and successful Simcha.

The Bar/Bat Mitzvah experience at Temple Beth-El provides a firm foundation for the student's continuing growth as a Jew and for their entrance into the adult Jewish world with all of its privileges and commitments.
