Constitution
After operation under the most recent amendments approved in May 2019, in light of a most trying and challenging year and at the request of various members, the President established a Constitution Committee to address four (4) specific areas needing attention -- (1) to allow for non-Jewish spouses or partners to be synagogue members; (2) to allow for congregational meetings to be rescheduled in the event of an emergency; (3) to allow for remote and hybrid meetings (both remote and in-person at the same time) and (4) to allow for Board vacancies to be filled between annual congregational meetings.
Amendments were made to address those four points, and they were voted in at the Annual Meeting on Sunday, May 23, 2021. Below is the full amended constitution.
