As we get closer to Rosh Hashanah, I will continue to share melodies that you'll hear during our worship experiences. This week's melody, written by Shlomo Carlebach, is often referred to as the B'Shem Hashem niggun. I hope it moves you to join along in singing it this High Holiday season.
The Mahzor's Questions, Sept. 16 & 23 If you are planning on coming to one or both of these classes, don't forget to register here .
Elul Art Project During Elul, the month of reflection and contemplation, we have the special opportunity this year to create a collaborative art project. At both Grove Avenue and Parham Road, you'll find a basket of leaves and markers so that you can write either a 'wish for the new year' or something that you may want to 'leave behind' this year. The finished piece will adorn the Main Sanctuary during the High Holidays.
If you are unable to make it to either location before Rosh Hashanah, you can use this page at home to create your own leaves with your families!
Warmly, Cantor Rosenblatt
