Caring Crews is in place to spread Hesed (lovingkindness), especially for the isolated and vulnerable. Do you or someone you know need a phone call or help with child care or groceries? Would you like to be a helper or just chat on the phone? Please fill out the form below. All requests are kept confidential between clergy, staff, and volunteers.

Phone Crew: Sometimes just hearing someone's voice can be comforting. Phone crews make regular calls to our isolated members to check in on them.Bereavement Crew: providing comfort and support to those who have lost a loved one. This crew will sit shmirah (guarding the body before burial) at funeral homes, help coordinate shivas, visit bereaved congregants, help with household chores and errands, Meal Train Crew: providing meals to congregants recovering from illness, surgery, or childbirth. Through the MealTrain website (mealtrain.com), we can help make this happen.Visiting Crew: alternate visiting (when it is safe to do so) the homebound or ill members of the Beth-El community.Transportation Crew: driving congregants to services and synagogue programs.
