Speaker Brunch with Erin Mahone

Sunday, March 11, 2018 24 Adar 5778

9:30 AM - 12:00 PMGrove Ave.

Guest Speaker Erin Mahone, author

If You Could See Me: Life, Motherhood, and the Pursuit of Sanity is Erin Mahone’s first book in which she talks candidly about the challenges of growing up in a family where mental illness was pervasive and a sense of humor was an absolute necessity.

Erin is a wife, mother of 3, a performing artist, writer, producer, and mental health advocate. Through her blog, and one woman showIt Runs in the Family, Erin is the Chief Oversharer giving voice to anyone struggling with mental illness and the pressure to be perfect through her own real-life stories of love, humility and acceptance.

Erin has worked for over a decade to build a stronger, more inclusive world.  Her work is inspired by growing up in a family touched by mental illness, years working in the mental health field,
and her own experiences with anxiety and depression.  She believes that life’s struggles, no matter how severe, do not define or limit a person’s capacity for greatness, achievement, or love. Every person has a distinct story worthy of respect.

Erin shares her message through storytelling, writing, music, and other elements with unique and inspiring offerings for audiences large and small.  Read more about Erin at www.Inourfam.com.
