1:00 PM - 3:30 PMHolocaust MuseumThe focus of the Professional Development will be about best practices in delivering Holocaust education at a time of rising Anti-Semitism, a diminishing survivor population, and using primary documents and voices. It will also focus on how to uncover/develop personal family stories using the above mentioned tools.
Sunday's schedule looks like this:
1pm - 1:30pm: Arrival, check-in and lunch
1:30pm - 2:315pm: full group: view Educator's cut of the documentary, talk and discussion with Karen Kruger, the film's writer and producer
2:15pm - 2:30pm: short break
2:30pm - 3:15pm: breakout workshops
3:15pm - 3:30pm: wrap-up and farewell
