The Prophets An Interfaith Exploration with Rabbi Michael Knopf and Reverend Hollie Woodruff; 5 Monday evenings at alternating locations; First session Monday, January 6, 7 pm at Grove Ave.
The Hebrew prophets inspired some of the most stirring, challenging, and influential books of the Bible. Their teachings left an indelible mark on both Judaism and Christianity. But do we really know them? The prophets are both familiar and misunderstood, ubiquitous and mysterious. Join Rabbi Michael Knopf (Temple Beth-El) and Reverend Hollie Woodruff (Seventh Street Christian Church - Disciples of Christ) for an interactive, interfaith exploration of the Hebrew prophets. We’ll study the history, identity, messages, and legacy of the prophets, discussing their impact on Judaism and Christianity, and their enduring relevance in our time. Register Here.
