Why is the Kotel important to us? What, if anything, makes it holy? with Rabbi Avram Schwartz

We'll explore these questions through the lens of rabbinic tradition, considering especially how to understand the Kotel in halakhah. 

Avram Schwartz grew up in Oakland, CA. He graduated from Columbia University (NYC) and the The Jewish Theological Seminary with degrees in Religion and Talmud. During his time at Yeshivat Chovevei Torah, Avram held a two year teaching internship at The Abraham Joshua Heschel School. He completed an M.A. in Jewish Education at JTS and also studied for a year at Yeshivat Hahesder Yerucham in Israel.
